On the 11th December we will be holding our monthly bereavement support group for people who have lost loved ones to cancer, whether that be a partner, family member or friend. The support group evenings are informal and provide a welcoming environment for you to share your experiences, thoughts and emotions. The space is there for you to use it as you need it on the day. Our team will be there to welcome and support you. Refreshments are provided, and we also have a library of books on grief and bereavement that you are welcome to borrow.
Please note that the group will start promptly at 6.30pm; latecomers need to be aware that it can be very distracting to be interrupted whilst talking about emotional topics.
Directions: Walk up St Giles away from the city center. About 50 meters past the Lamb and Flag Pub it is the first set of metal grey gates on your right opposite the war memorial.
Free parking is available along St Giles from 6.30pm. Parking before then is £1.50 for half an hour. The venue is also accessible from the Park and Ride locations – details of which can be found here.
